Floyd Vivino — ‘Uncle Floyd’ — has passed. If you're an old geezer like me (from New Jersey & didn't have cable tv as a kid), you remember The Uncle Floyd Show, launched in 1974 and running until 1995. The Uncle Floyd Show was a chaotic mess of very low‑budget slapstick, satire, puppets (don’t forget the puppets), and live music. Rarely good, but always on, and always live. The show’s unscripted nature was a bit like watching Monty Python… and a train wreck. Thanks for the good times — we will miss you, Floyd.”
